Jonatan Santos had a three-point and a two-point goal to lead the defending Major Indoor Soccer League champion Milwaukee Wave to a 9-5 victory Saturday at US Cellular Arena in Milwaukee over the Chicago Soul to extend their league-best winning streak to 12 games.
Carlos Munoz led the Soul with a three-point goal and assisted on Carlos Farias' goal.
Milwaukee, 13-2 and leading the Baltimore Blast by a game in the standings, travel to the Wichita Wings this Friday.
Chicago, an expansion team this season, is now 6-11 and tied for fifth place with the Rochester Lancers (same record), eight games behind the Wave. The Soul host the Wings in a Monday afternoon contest, then play them on the road next Saturday.
