Timbers To Bring Defender Ryan Miller Home

After failing to catch on in Major League Soccer previously with the Columbus Crew, who selected him 31st overall in the 2008 MLS SuperDraft, and DC United, the Portland Timbers are set to bring back American and former Notre Dame defender Ryan Miller to the States to become a starting defender under new head coach Caleb Porter, according to a Twitter post Friday by SoccerByIves.com writer Ives Galarcep.

Miller has been playing the last few seasons in Sweden with Halmstads BK and Ljungskile SK and his play earned him a call-up to the latest US Men's National Team training camp in Carson, CA.
