Timbers Get Valeri As DP On Loan For 2013 Season
Major League Soccer's Portland Timbers announced Thursday they have acquired Argentinian midfielder Diego Valeri on loan for the 2013 season from Club Atletico Lanus in their first division, where he scored 25 goals in 158 games played over two stints (2003-09, 2011-12), and named him a Designated Player.
