The expansion Chicago Soul of the Major Indoor Soccer League named Jeff Kraft assistant coach and director of soccer operations Monday.
Kraft joins the coaching staff of Novi Marojevic, who was promoted from assistant coach last month.
Kraft played two seasons in the MISL with the Kansas City (now Missouri) Comets for two seasons, then left to join the American Indoor Soccer Association's Hershey (PA) Impact for three seasons.
At Hershey, he scored 31 goals and assisted on eight others in 74 regular season games and led the team in game-winning goals with six.
Kraft was named runner-up to the American Indoor Soccer League's Coach of the Year in 2007, won that title in 2008, and was the National Indoor Soccer League's Coach of the Year in 2009.
