Rife OT Goal Gives Wave Win Over Blast, First Place In MISL

Josh Rife scored a game-winning goal 40 seconds into overtime as the defending Major Indoor Soccer League champion Milwaukee Wave took over first place in the league standings from the Baltimore Blast and extended their winning streak to a season-high ten games with a 10-8 victory over the Blast Saturday at US Cellular Arena.

Ian Bennett added a brace for the Wave, now 11-2 and leading the Blast (12-4) by a half-game.

Tony Donatelli scored twice for the Blast in the loss.

Both teams play on the road this Friday -- Milwaukee against the Chicago Soul, Baltimore versus the Syracuse Silver Knights.
