Orlando City U-23s Name Shaw Head Coach

The Orlando City U-23s of the USL Premier Development League announced Wednesday current senior boys academy director Paul Shaw will become the team's new head coach.

Orlando City finished in second place in the Southern Conference's Southeast Division with an 8-3-5 record and 29 points in their inaugural season in the league. They won the conference championship last season, 4-2, over the Austin Aztex before advancing to the league championship tournament, where they lost to the Carolina Dynamo, 2-1.

Shaw served as head coach of former USL PRO franchise FC New York in 2011.
