MLS Adds Two More To Generation adidas Class Of 2013

Major League Soccer announced Thursday forwards DeShorn Brown and Kekuta Manneh were added to the Generation adidas Class of 2013 and will both take part in the league's annual Player Combine Friday through next Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Brown, a native of Jamaica, scored 13 goals in 16 games in his lone season at the University of Central Florida after playing at the University of Mobile, a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics school in Mobile, AL, and in the USL Premier Development League with Reading United.

Manneh, from Gambia, played for youth teams Lonestar FC and Texas Rush and in the USL PDL for the Austin Aztex, as well as reportedly earned a tryout with the two-time MLS Cup champions Los Angeles Galaxy.

Brown and Manneh join defenders Walker Zimmerman (Furman) and Andrew Farrell (Louisville), midfielder Mikey Lopez (North Carolina), and forwards Jason Johnson (Virginia Commonwealth) and Eriq Zavaleta (Indiana) in the Class of 2013.

Zimmerman, though, will be the only class member to miss the combine due to an injury.
