Lancers Sign Three-Time MISL Champion McNeley

The Rochester Lancers of the Major Indoor Soccer League Wednesday announced the signing of former Milwaukee Wave defender Evan McNeley, who won two league championships there to go with another, won in the 2009-10 season with La Raza de Monterrey.

He also had playing stints with the California Cougars, where, in the 2007-08 MISL season, he had a career-high 35 blocks, and the Stockton Cougars and New Jersey Ironmen.

McNeley has tallied over 130 blocks in his career.

He began his collegiate career with Seattle University, where he was a Great Northwest Athletic Conference First Team member and a runner-up for the conference's Freshman of the Year award.

McNeley then transferred to Oregon, where he became a Pac-10 Newcomer of the Year honorable mention selection.
