Julio Velazco had four goals and an assist and Israel Salcido and Roman Madrid each had a brace and an assist as host Toros Mexico slipped past the Turlock Express Sunday, 13-10, in Professional Arena Soccer League play at Unisantos Sports Park.
Mexico is now 4-5 and tied for second place in the Southwestern Division with the Arizona Storm (same record), both four games behind the division-leading Las Vegas Legends (8-1).
Turlock fell to 6-5, second place in the Pacific Division and four games behind the league's three-time defending champion and current remaining undefeated team this season, the San Diego Sockers (9-0).
Turlock hosts the Toros in their next meeting January 18.
