Hernandez Leads Mustangs Over Piasa

Nestor Hernandez had a brace and an assist as his Chicago Mustangs slipped past the host Illinois Piasa, 7-6, Saturday in Professional Arena Soccer League action.

Luis Ortega added a goal and an assist for Chicago, in second place in the Central Division at 7-2, 1 1/2 games behind the undefeated Dallas Sidekicks (8-0), who they host this Sunday, then face in Allen, TX next Saturday. Between those games, the Mustangs will play at the Texas Strikers this Friday.

Jon Fridal led the Piasa with a hat trick, Greg Crook tallied two goals, and Azeem Razwan added another as they fell to 1-8 and fourth place in the Eastern Division, 6 1/2 games behind the Detroit Waza (7-1). The Piasa host the Cincinnati Kings next Friday, then travel to the Rockford Rampage next Saturday.
