Jon Fridal and Tim Vance scored two goals each, with Fridal assisting on a third goal, as the host Illinois Piasa defeated the Cincinnati Kings, 7-4, Friday in Professional Arena Soccer League play.
The Piasa are now 2-8 and in fourth place in the Eastern Division, 6 1/2 games behind the division-leading Detroit Waza (8-1). Illinois travels Saturday to the Rockford Rampage.
Eddie Hertsenberg tallied a brace for Cincinnati with Rashawn Lamar and Jeff Hughes each posting goals.
The Kings, in second place at 7-4, two games behind the Waza, host the Ohio Vortex next Saturday.
