FC Dallas Adds Defenders Woodberry, Keel

Major League Soccer's FC Dallas announced Wednesday they have signed defender London Woodberry to a Homegrown Player contract and have agreed to terms with former New York Red Bulls defender Stephen Keel, who has selected in last month's Re-Entry Draft.

Woodberry, who had four goals and four assists in 77 career games with the Maryland Terrapins, was a third team National Soccer Coaches Association of America selection as a senior in 2012 and helped them to eight shutout victories.

Keel played in nine games last season for New York after setting career highs there in 2011 in games played (16), games started (11) and assists (two).

Originally signed to a developmental contract with the Colorado Rapids in 2005, he led the Rapids to back-to-back MLS Reserve Division titles in 2006 and 2007 and was named Reserve Player of the Year in 2007 by MLS Magazine.
