Scott Colman scored two goals, including one at the 9:49 mark of the third period, that gave the host Sacramento Surge an end to their Professional Arena Soccer League season-opening ten-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over Toros Mexico at Off The Wall Indoor Soccer in Sacramento, CA.
Jose Hernandez scored a goal for Mexico and assisted on Israel Salgado's goal in the loss.
Sacramento, 1-10 and in last place in the Pacific Division, 9 1/2 games behind the league's three-time defending champion San Diego Sockers (10-0), will host the Tacoma Stars next Saturday.
Toros Mexico, at 6-6 and in second place in the Southwestern Division, four games behind the Las Vegas Legends (10-2), face Real Phoenix on the road next Saturday.
