Jose Juan Caballero scored his lone goal of the game at 2:39 of overtime as Toros Mexico got past the host Turlock Express, 10-9, Friday in Professional Arena Soccer League play from Turlock Indoor Soccer.
Oscar Rivas has a brace and three assists and Jose Hernandez tallied a hat trick in the victory.
Ivan Campos led the Express with a goal and three assists, while Adrian Gutierrez and Bronil Koochoie added braces each.
Toros Mexico is 6-5 and in second place in the Southwestern Division, four games behind the Las Vegas Legends (10-2), who lost Friday to the three-time defending league champion San Diego Sockers at home, 6-5. Mexico hosts the winless Sacramento Surge (0-10), the worst team in the Pacific Division, home to the Sockers, and in the league, Saturday at Unisantos Sports Park.
Turlock, 7-6 and in second place in the Pacific Division, five games behind San Diego, hosts the Tacoma Stars next Friday.
