Soul Names New Inaugural Head Coach In Rojos

The Chicago Soul, joining the Major Indoor Soccer League this season, announced Tuesday Manny Rojas will take over as their inaugural head coach, replacing Narciso "Chicho" Cuevas, who recently resigned for family reasons.

Among the many stops in a 20-year playing career, Rojas led the Chicago Sting to the North American Soccer League's Soccer Bowl championship in 1984, then transitioned with the team when they joined the original MISL the next season, and won a National Professional Soccer League title with the Chicago Power in the 1990-91 season.

The Soul also announced veteran player Novica "Novi" Marojevic will be their assistant coach.
