Stampede Adds Three Local Players To Roster

The expansion Ocala Stampede of the USL Premier Development League announced the signing Wednesday of three local players to their inaugural roster in Wyatt Stephens, Bryce Ciambella and Lex Craggs.

Stephens played for the University of Tulsa before transferring to the University of Cincinnati.

With the Golden Hurricanes, he led them to the Conference USA tournament championship in his freshman year, but they ended their defense of the title in his sophomore year. Tulsa also advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA College Cup in his freshman year, where they lost 1-0 to the University of Akron.

Ciambella played collegiately at Creighton and for the Florida Rush club soccer team.

Craggs is a three-year starter for Ocala's Forest High School.
