The Seattle Sounders Women of the USL W-League, sold in November 2011 with the USL Premier Development League's Seattle Sounders U-23 to local businessmen Lane Smith and Cliff McElroy, unveiled a new team logo that represents the team's continued affiliation with Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders.
The new logo is a circular crest featuring the MLS team's logo in the center, circled in Rave Green, and features the words "W-League" at the top and "Sounders Women" at the base.
