The Rochester Rhinos of USL PRO announced the signing Thursday of forward Graciano Brito for the 2012 season.
Brito played last season for now-defunct FC New York, scoring four goals in 12 appearances.
He played collegiately at Quinnipiac University, where he finished as the school's all-time leader n goals (40) and points (92) and was a three-time National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-American, a two-time All-Northeast Conference selection and the conference's Player of the Year during his career.
He was invited to attend Major League Soccer's 2009 Player Combine, but was not drafted by any franchise that year and returned to Quinnipiac to be an assistant coach before joining Operario dos Acores in Portugal's second division in 2010.
