Major League Soccer's Houston Dynamo and Methodist Hospital System announced Thursday the extension of a corporate partnership begun in 2005.
The extension now gives MHS naming rights to the Championship field at Houston Amateur Sports Park, the Dynamo's new training center and an on-site operations facility there. They will also become a founding partner of Houston's new BBVA Compass Stadium, opening during the 2012 MLS season, and will get naming rights on an entry gate at the stadium.
In a related note, the Dynamo, defending Eastern Conference champion, announced the renewal of a television broadcast deal with Fox Sports Houston that began in the franchise's inaugural year of 1996.
Fox Sports Houston will show nine regular season games this season, with FSH Plus showing nine others.
