Kwame Sarkodie and Nik Djokic each had a pair of goals to lead the Cincinnati Kings to a 7-6 victory over the Professional Arena Soccer League Eastern Division matchup Saturday at the Taylor (MI) Sportsplex Saturday that also served as a quaterfinal contest in the 2011-12 US Open Arena Soccer Championship tournament.
The Kings now advance to the tournament's semifinal round, where they will meet Vitresse Dallas of the Premier Arena Soccer League.
Miko Djersilo and Dominic Scicluna had braces for Detroit, who remains atop the division at 9-2 and will host the Ohio Vortex next Saturday.
Cincinnati is 5-8 and in fifth place in the Eastern standings, seven games behind the Waza (9-2), who they face in Taylor next Saturday.
