For the fourth time this season, San Diego Sockers forward Kraig Chiles was named the Professional Arena Soccer League's Player of the Week Tuesday, this time for Week 13 of the 2011-12 season.
Chiles scored seven goals and three assists last week and set a new single-season record for goals scored with 42 with three games left in the regular season. He also is second all-time in points scored for a season at 61, behind Bernie Lilavois, who had 68 in the 2008-09 season.
In January, Chiles has scored 38 points over eight games. He has scored at least three points in every game this season, except for November 19, when he was shut out.
