JT Noone and Mike Lookingland had five-point nights with two goals and an assist and Machel Millwood (two goals) and Max Ferdinand (goal and two assists) contribute four points each as the Major Indoor Soccer League's Eastern Division-leading Baltimore Blast edged the worst team in the division and league in the Norfolk Sharx 18-10 Friday at First Mariner Arena in Baltimore.
Cecil Lewis and Miguel Ferrer each fired off three-point goals for Norfolk and Tennant McVea had a two-pointer and an assist, but the SharX rally was too little, too late.
The Blast are now 12-4 and host the division's second place team, the Rochester Lancers (7-9), five games behind Baltimore in the standings, Saturday.
Norfolk, the worst team this season in the league and the division, is 3-14, 9 1/2 games behind Baltimore, and will host the Lancers Sunday at the Norfolk Scope Arena.
