USMNT Finalizing Plans For Leap Day Game In Italy For Flood Victims

According to MLSsoccer.com, plans are being finalized for the US Men's National Team to play an international friendly against Italy in Genoa February 29 to raise money to benefit victims of flooding in the area three months ago.

The US has never won a game against Italy in 10 tries (0-7-3) and have played games in Catania and Rome in the past. Their last meeting was at the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, held in the US, where the US lost 3-1.
