Triple Hat Trick Does Little To Help Tijuana; Express Outlasts Revolucion

Cesar Romero set a new single-game record for goals with nine for Revolucion Tijuana in a Friday night Professional Arena Soccer League contest at host Turlock Express in Turlock, CA.

Too bad Tijuana didn't win the game, though.

Oscar Ramos (hat trick, two assists) and Uriel Robledo (two goals, three assists) led the Express with five points each in a 17-11 victory at Turlock Indoor Soccer. Jesus Belmonte had four points with a hat trick and an assist.

Guillermo Rodriguez and Christian Perez scored Tijuana's other goals in the loss.

Both teams will meet again January 20 at Furati Arena in Tijuana.

Turlock is currently 6-3 and in second place in the Western Division, a game behind the two-time defending league champion San Diego Sockers (5-0).

Tijuana, who travels to the Anaheim Bolts next Friday before facng Turlock again two weeks later, is 3-3 and tied with the Bolts for third place in the division.
