MLS Generation adidas Players Heading On Tour To Netherlands

18 Major League Soccer players who are part of the Generation adidas program and will be representing 12 teams depart Monday for a 10-day trip to the Netherlands that will include training at Ajax Academy in Amsterdam and competing in three friendly games -- December 8 at Ajax against their reserve team, December 13 at Dutch second division FC Volendam, and December 14 at Dutch second division Almere City FC in Almere, MLS announced Friday.

They will also catch three games whileon their tour -- December 7: Ajax vs Real Madid (UEFA Champions League), December  10: AZ Alkmaar vs. De Graafschap (Dutch Eredivisie), December 12: Ajax U-23s vs. PSV Eindhoven U-23s.

The team will be coached by Sporting Kansas City's Peter Vermes.
