Eller Leads Kings In Dual Victory Over Lightning At Cincinnati Gardens

Allen Eller had four goals to lead the host Cincinnati Kings to a 9-3 victory over the Louisville Lightning Friday at Cincinnati Gardens that served as a Professional Arena Soccer League regular season game and a Round of 16 game in the 2011-12 US Open Arena Soccer Championship tournament.

Kwame Sarkodie had a pair of goals and assists for the Kings, Sam Fiore added a brace and Jeff Henderson also scored a goal.

JT Murray scored two of Louisville's goals with Tee Shipalane adding the other.

The Kings will next face fellow PASL franchise Detroit Waza in the quarterfinals at a location and date to be announced.

In the league, Cincinnati improved to 3-5 on the season and are tied for fourth place in the Eastern Division with the Illinois Piasa (same record), both three games behind Detroit for the division lead. The Kings next host the Kansas Magic January 13.

Louisville is in sole possession of third place, 1 1/2 games behind Detroit, and they will host the Piasa next Saturday at Mockingbird Valley Sports Complex for their first game of 2012.
