Montreal Impact forward Ryan Pore and NSC Minnesota Stars goalkeeper Joe Warren were named Monday the North American Soccer League's Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 24 of the inaugural 2011 season.
Pore scored goals in the 12th and 78th minute as the host Impact, fighting for the sixth and final playoff berth available, shut out FC Edmonton 2-0 at Saputo Stadium.
Since joining the Impact on loan from Major League Soccer's Portland Timbers, Pore has scored four goals and assisted on another over ten games, nine of which he started.
Warren won the weekly defensive award for the third time this season after tallying seven saves in a 1-1 tie against FC Tampa Bay at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, FL.
