Illinois Piasa Named Co-Head Coaches And Player/Assistant Coach

The Illinois Piasa of the Professional Arena Soccer League announced Joe Reiniger will serve as a co-head coach with player-co-head coach Justin McMillan and that Elvir Kafedzic will be a player-assistant coach for the 2011-12 season.

Reiniger played indoor soccer professionally for the St. Louis Ambush of the National Professional Soccer League and the St. Louis Steamers and Milwaukee Wave in the Major Indoor Soccer League and was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2001 MISL Championship while at Milwaukee.

McMillan led Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville as captain to the NCAA College Cup Final Four in 2001. He then joined the Indiana Blast of the A-League in 2003 as their Rookie of the Year and was named that in 2005 with the Steamers. McMillan also served as team captain and assistant coach of the PASL Pro's St. Louis Illusion.

He was the former head coach of River Cities FC of the Women's Premier Soccer League and led them to back-to-back Midwest Region Regular Season Championships in 2005 and 2006 and to the WPSL National Championship game in 2005.

Kafedzic, born in Bosnia and emigrated to St. Louis in 1999, played for Affton High School and at Lindenwood College, where he led them to a National Association for Intercollegiate Athletics. He also played professionally for the Steamers, Chicago Storm and California Cougars in MISL and AC St. Louis in the USSF Division 2 Pro League (now the North American Soccer League).
