FC Edmonton pulled off a come-from-behind 3-1 victory over the NSC Minnesota Stars Saturday in North American Soccer League action from Foote Field in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Edmonton is in fourth place in the league standings at 9-10-6 with 33 points and are two points behind FC Tampa Bay (9-8-7, 34) for sole possession of third place. They will host the last-place Atlanta Silverbacks Wednesday.
NSC, meanwhile, is clinging to the sixth and final place in the standings to earn a playoff berth at 7-9-8 with 29 points. The Stars host Tampa Bay Tuesday and the Silverbacks next Saturday at NSC Stadium in Blaine, MN.
