FC Dallas To Remember Rhine At Home Game Saturday

With players and fans wearing black armbands, among other forms of tribute, Major League Soccer's FC Dallas said Wednesday they will honor the memory of former player and broadcaster Bobby Rhine, who died on Labor Day of a heart attack at age 35, at Saturday's game against the New York Red Bulls at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX.

Rhine's initials will be painted on the field, a banner will be hung from the team's broadcast booth, a moment of silence will be observed in his memory and the team will show a video tribute on their scoreboard at halftime.

Also, the team announced Wednesday defender Zach Loyd, who had been wearing Rhine's uniform number -- 19 -- this season, will change his number to 12 for the rest of the season in honor of him.
