Jeremy Hall made his team's needed penalty kick and Major League Soccer's FC Dallas won the two-game Rio Grande Plate series over Tigres UANL of Mexico's Primera Division Saturday at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX by a 6-5 score in a shootout.
Tigres won the first game of the series 2-1 in Monterrey, Mexico March 23 and took a 3-1 aggregate goal lead in Saturday's game whne Lucas Lobos had an unassisted goal in the 37th minute before FC Dallas struck back on a 44th minute goal from Ruben Luna off a Bryan Leyva assist and an unassisted 46th minute goal by Jackson to end regulation play tied at 3-3.
FC Dallas returns to MLS play next Sunday at the New England Revolution.
