City Islander Goalkeeper Harrison Joins Union

Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union announced Friday they have signed Harrisburg City Islanders goalkeeper Karry "Chase" Harrison, who led them to the 2011 USL PRO National Division Championship, to a contract.

The City Islanders, though, would lose the league's inaugural Championship Game to American Division champion Orlando City Soccer Club in a shootout.

Harrison, in his second stint with Harrisburg, had a record of 8-6-6 with five shutouts and a 1.30 goals against average. In 2009 with the team, then in the USL Second Division, he was 8-4-4 with eight shutouts and a 0.81 GAA and was named the division's Goals Against Average Champion and a member of the All-League Second Team.
