Angel Brace Leads Chivas USA To Rout Of Toronto FC

Juan Pablo Angel scored the first and last goals for Chivas USA Saturday in a 3-0 rout of Toronto FC in Major League Soccer play at The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA Saturday.

Ante Jazic and Justin Braun assisted Angel on the first goal in the 12th minute and Ben Zemanski and Marcos Mondaini teamed with him on a 77th minute strike.

Braun also had a goal in the 71st minute off Michael Umana.

Chivas is in seventh place in the Western Conference standings at 8-12-11 with 35 points and hosts the Philadelphia Union next Sunday.

Toronto FC is 6-13-12 with 30 points and is tied for seventh place in the Eastern Conference with the Chicago Fire (6-8-15). They will host Mexico's Pumas UNAM Tuesday in a Group C game in the 2011-12 CONCACAF Champions League tournament before welcoming the New York Red Bulls to town next Saturday.
