Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union announced the return to their roster of goalkeeper Thorne Holder Monday after loaning him to FC New York of USL PRO, where he went 2-2-1 in five games and posted two shutouts.
At Philadelphia before the loan, he played on their MLS Reserve League team against the New York Red Bulls, DC United and New England Revolution, and he saw 45 minutes of action in a 1-0 exhibition win July 20 against Everton of the English Premier League.
