Western New York is 10-2-3 with 33 points, while the Independence are 10-3-3.
The Flash will take on the last-place Atlanta Beat Saturday at Kennesaw State University Stadium.
Boston, whose lone goal came in the 47th minute as Kelley O'Hara fed a pass to Keelin Winters, is in fifth place in the standings at 4-8-4 with 16 points and will host magicJack Saturday.
