Late second-half goals from Mauro Rosales and Lamar Neagle led the visiting Seattle Sounders to a 2-1 victory that ended host Sporting Kansas City's Major League Soccer-leading 14-game unbeaten streak Saturday at Livestrong Sporting Park.
Ironically, it was Seattle who last beat SKC 1-0 earlier this season at newly-christened CenturyLink Field, formerly Qwest Field, during Kansas City's league-record 10-game road trip to start the season.
Sporting Kansas City's Kei Kamera scored the game's first goal in the 20th minute.
Seattle, 11-5-8 with 41 points, is in third place in the Western Conference standings, two points behind FC Dallas (12-6-6, 42) for second place. The Sounders host Chivas USA next Saturday.
Kansas City, at 7-7-9 with 30 points, is tied for third place in the Eastern Conference with the New York Red Bulls (6-6-12) and will host the Portland Timbers this Wednesday.
