Etienne Barbara's 30th minute penalty kick and a pass from Pablo Campos to Matt Watson scored in the 51st minute as the league-leading Carolina RailHawks snapped a three-game losing streak in the North American Soccer League with a 2-0 shutout of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers Saturday at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC.
The RailHawks, 15-4-3 with 48 points, take on the league's worst team in the Atlanta Silverbacks at Silverbacks Park next Saturday.
Fort Lauderdale, 6-6-10 with 28 points and in fifth place, hosts intrastate rival FC Tampa Bay next Saturday.
