Moffat Wins GOTW In Landslide; Kocic Gets SOTW Award

Major League Soccer announced Friday Houston Dynamo midfielder Adam Moffat was selected by fans as the Week 22 winner of the AT&T Goal of the Week award and Toronto FC goalkeeper Milos Kocic won his first league Save of the Week award.

Moffat's 40-yard-long blast to open the scoring in a 2-1 victory over the Portland Timbers last Sunday was the landslide winner, with 71 percent of the fan vote this week over Thierry Henry of the New York Red Bulls (second at 10%), Joel Lindpere of the Red Bulls and Dominic Oduro of the Chicago Fire (both tied for third at 7% each), and Benny Feilhaber of the New England Revolution (last at 5%).

Kocic earned 42.5 of this week's online voting after serving in place of regular starter Stefan Frei and stopping a possible tying goal from Will Johnson of Real Salt Lake in second-half stoppage time as Toronto preserved a 1-0 win over RSL.

Kevin Hartman of FC Dallas (31.9% of vote) was second this week, followed by Tally Hall of the Houston Dynamo (14.8% of vote), Dan Kennedy of Chivas USA (7.8%) and Sean Johnson of the Chicago Fire (3%).
