Real Salt Lake midfielder Luis Gil and Sporting Kansas City goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen were named winners in fan voting for Major League Soccer's AT&T Goal of the Week and Save of the Week for Week 21 of the 2011 season.
Gil scored his first professional goal last Saturday in RSL's 3-0 win over the New York Red Bulls and received 44 percent of the votes cast.
Nielsen won his award for the second time in three weeks and got three times the percentage of votes (66 to 22) cast over second place finisher Faryd Mondragon of the Philadelphia Union.
