Fire Sets New MLS Single Season Record For Draws

Despite Sebastian Grazzini scoring an unassisted goals in the 59th minute, the host Chicago Fire set a new Major League Soccer single season record for draws as they played to a 1-1 final against DC United Thursday at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL.

Josh Wolff countered Chicago's goal in the 73rd minute off a Santino Quaranta assist.

Chicago, the worst team in the Eastern Conference, is now 2-7-15 with 21 points and will host Toronto FC this Sunday.

DC United, meanwhile, is 7-6-10 with 31 points and tied for fifth in the conference standings with the New York Red Bulls (6-6-13). DC travels to Livestrong Sporting Park this Sunday to play Sporting Kansas City.
