Fire Newcomer Prado's First Goal Gives Chicago Draw With Philadelphia

Chicago Fire newcomer Pavel Prado's first goal, an unassisted shot in the 54th minute, gave the Major League Soccer franchise a 1-1 draw to the Philadelphia Union in an Eastern Conference matchup Wednesday at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL.

Philadelphia scored first in the 34th minute off a unassisted goal by Veljko Paunovic.

The Fire, despite earning a point in the standings, are 2-6-11 with 19 points and are tied for last in the conference with Toronto FC (3-11-10). Chicago travels to Empire Field Sunday to face the worst team in the league, the Western Conference's Vancouver Whitecaps.

Philadelphia is in second place in the standings at 8-5-8 with 32 points, three behind the conference-leading Columbus Crew (9-6-7, 34 points). The Union host the Houston Dynamo Saturday at PPL Park in Chester, PA.
