Despite Eduardo Sebrango scoring two goals and Ali Gerba setting a single-game team record with three assists -- two on Sebrango's goals, the third on an Ian Westlake strike -- FC Tampa Bay rallied back from a 3-1 deficit to pull even with the host Montreal Impact 3-3 Wednesday in North American Soccer League action from Saputo Stadium.
Shane Hill opened the scoring for Tampa Bay in the 39th minute with an unassisted goal for the eventual halftime lead before the Impact struck hard with Sebrango's brace in the 46th and 75th minute and Westlake's 54th minute contribution.
Tampa Bay's Aaron King cut the deficit to 3-2 in the 85th minute with an assist by Frankie Sanfilippo and Mozzi Gyorio had an unassisted goal in the final minute of the game.
Tampa Bay is 7-6-7 with 28 points and tied for third in the league standings with NSC Minnesota Stars (7-5-7), who hosts them Saturday.
Montreal, joining Major League Soccer in 2012 as an expansion team, is in seventh place in the standings at 3-10-7 and will host the last place Atlanta Silverbacks Sunday.
