FC Dallas snapped a three-game Major League Soccer losing streak as Ugo Ihemelu, Maicon Santos and Bobby Warshaw scored goals to take a 3-2 come-from-behind win over host Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer play from Livestrong Sporting Park Saturday.
Kansas City's Kei Kamara opened the scoring with a 22nd minute goal that eventually became the halftime lead, then upped the advantage to 2-0 in the 68th minute with an Omar Bravo strike.
FC Dallas is in third place in the Western Conference standings at 13-7-7 with 46 points, three behind the Seattle Sounders (13-5-6, 48) for sole possession of second place, and will travel to the New England Revolution September 10.
Kansas City is in second place in the Eastern Conference standings at 9-8-9 with 36 points after starting the season dead last in the conference after a league-record 10-game road trip to start the season. Kansas City is also five points behind the conference-leading Columbus Crew (11-8-7, 40) for first place. SKC hosts the Houston Dynamo September 10.
