FC Dallas Makes MLS History In Mexico In CCL Group C Opener

Marvin Chavez's unassisted goal in the 66th minute gave Major League Soccer's FC Dallas a 1-0 victory over Pumas Wednesday in a Group C game in the first round of the 2011-12 CONCACAF Champions League tournament at Olympic University Stadium in Mexico and became the first MLS team to win a game on Mexican soil.

FC Dallas returns to MLS play Saturday when they host another fellow MLS team in the CCL in the Seattle Sounders, then Dallas heads to BMO Field next Wednesday for the second round of CCM play against MLS' Toronto FC.
