Major League Soccer's Chivas USA announced the signing Thursday of midfielder Laurent Courtois, who spent the last three seasons in France's Ligue 1 with Grenoble.
He has also played for Ajaccio and Toulouse in France, West Ham in England and Levante in Spain and grew up in the youth system at Lyon.
He is expected to debut for Chivas Saturday at the New England Revolution.
