Marc Burch scored a game-winning unassisted goal in the 80th minute as DC United remained the only undefeated team in the Major League Soccer Reserve League with a 2-1 victory over Toronto FC Sunday at the DC United Training Field.
Former US Men's National Team star Charlie Davies opened the scoring for United with a 58th minute penalty kick, countered in the 77th minute by a Keith Makubuya pass to Steven Vukovic before Burch broke the tie three minutes later.
DC United leads the East Division at 5-0-1 with 16 points and will host the New York Red Bulls September 13.
Toronto FC, in fifth place in the division at 0-3-1 with a point, travels to the New England Revolution September 2.
