Simon Bracalello scored two goals and Neil Hlavaty converted a 17th minute penalty kick as the NSC Minnesota Stars defeated the host Montreal Impact 3-1 in North American Soccer League action Saturday from Saputo Stadium.
Ian Westlake tied the game at 1-1 for Montreal in the 22nd minute on an unassisted goal.
The Stars are 7-4-7 with 28 points and in third place in the league standings. NSC hosts the Fort Lauderdale Strikers Wednesday.
Montreal, headed to Major League Soccer for the 2012 season, is in seventh place at 3-10-6 with 15 points and will host FC Tampa Bay Wednesday.
