Wondolowski, Haasli Trade Goals In 2-2 Draw For Earthquakes, Whitecaps

Chris Wondolowski, the reigning Major League Soccer Golden Boot winner and Most Valuable Player, had goals in the third and 54th minute, the first one ending a personal 511-minute scoring drought, and Eric Haasli countered with goals in the 42nd and 61st minute as the host San Jose Earthquakes played the Vancouver Whitecaps to a 2-2 draw Wednesday at Buck Shaw Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.

The Earthquakes are in sixth place in the Western Conference at 5-6-9 with 24 points and travel to Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, UT against Real Salt Lake.

The Whitecaps hold the worst record in the league and the conference at 2-10-9 with 15 points and will host the best team in MLS and the Western Conference in the Los Angeles Galaxy July 30 at Empire Field.
