Arianna Ruele scored a goal in the 75th minute off an assist by Julie Lancos as the host North Jersey Valkyries shut out the New Jersey Rangers 1-0 in USL W-League play Wednesday at Depaul Catholic High School.
The Valkyries are 3-3-3 with 12 points and in fourth place in the Eastern Conference's Northeast Division. They will host the New Jersey Wildcats in their home and season final Saturday.
The Rangers end their 2011 season at 0-9-1 with no points following the loss of their only standings point due to a league violation
