The USL W-League kicked off 2011 Championship Weekend activities Monday with the announcement of their All-Conference Teams, selected by team management and honoring the best players at their positions.
The other announcements planned this week are the naming of the All-League Team Tuesday and, on Wednesday, the naming of the finalists for Coach of the Year, Defender of the Year, Rookie of the Year and Most Valuable Player, which will be awarded Friday at the annual Championship Banquet, this year in Seattle, along with the naming of the league's Goalkeeper of the Year.
